My Salon Empire brings The Doux’s salon heritage to Roblox through an experience where players can step behind the chair and build a business of their own.
Inspired by the brand’s beginnings in professional hairstyling, the experience combines hands-on salon services with business management, while placing textured hair and the culture surrounding it at the center of its world.

Players begin with a small salon and take an active role in every service, from welcoming clients and consulting on their hair to washing, styling, and completing their final look.
Each client helps move the business forward. Players can reinvest their earnings into new equipment, hire staff, unlock additional services, and expand their space, gradually turning a small salon into a growing operation of their own.
BUILT AROUND TEXTURED HAIR
Hair isn’t simply a customization feature in My Salon Empire; it is at the heart of the experience. Drawing from The Doux’s expertise in textured hair, the virtual salon was designed to reflect the variety, creativity, and care that define the brand’s approach to hair.
Throughout the experience, players work with dozens of hairstyles spanning curls, coils, braids, locs, and more. This variety extends beyond appearance: hair becomes part of the salon experience itself, as players consult with clients, wash their hair, and style each look as part of their service.
To help bring that variety into the game, several hairstyles were created in collaboration with members of the Roblox creator community, bringing their own perspectives and creativity into the virtual salon.
ROOTED IN SALON CULTURE
For The Doux, the salon is more than the setting behind the experience. The brand itself grew from founder Maya Smith’s work behind the chair, where hairstyling, education, entrepreneurship, and community were already closely connected.
My Salon Empire carries that foundation into Roblox by putting players on their own journey behind the chair. What begins as serving individual clients gradually becomes the responsibility of running a salon, building a team, and growing a business, reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit that has been part of The Doux from the beginning.
